This detail oriented course will describe concepts and procedures involved in planning for disaster recovery. The topics of disaster recovery and business continuity are critical to the success of every business enterprise. Students start with a foundational overview of standard disaster recovery plans what they should include, followed by discussions of the best practices for recovery involving the CommVault suite of products. Procedural emphasis is placed on recovery of essential CommCell Components as the: -CommServe Storage Manager -MediaAgents -File System iDataAgents -And application iDataAgents A process flow for recovery is presented so students learn to develop a logical methodology to prepare for rapid recovery in the event some disaster occurs. There are also discussions of possible alternate architectures and topologies that supplement existing backup infrastructures.
