This 3-day, instructor-led course provides students with the knowledge and skills that are needed to install and configure a Storage Area Network using B-Series (Brocade) SAN Fibre Channel Switches. This course offers a significant amount of hands-on experience and discussion that are needed in becoming proficient with the new features of B-Series (Brocade) firmware. Attendees will be able to: * Describe hardware and software attributes of the Brocade product line * Describe FC concepts * Install, configure, and verify functionality of switches in a Brocade fabric using CLI, SSH, and Web Tools * Save switch configuration files and perform firmware maintenance tasks * Administer Brocade zones * Describe and evaluate multi-switch fabric routing and routing policies * Describe multi-switch fabric trunking and distance solutions * Describe management tools used to manage Brocade fabrics * Describe and utilize Brocade error messages, commands, and diagnostics.
