Overzicht
Aan orde komt het schrijven van eenvoudige Visual Basic.NET Windows applicaties die gebruik maken van forms, controls en menu’s voor het user interface, variabelen, arrays, flow control constructies en Sub, Function en Property procedures. Ook is er aandacht voor error handling met de debugger en door het gebruik van structured exception handling. Voorts wordt het schrijven van een simpele Visual Basic .NET Web Forms applicatie die een XML Web Service gebruikt behandeld en komen object georienteerde technieken met classes aan bod. Tenslotte staat het benaderen van een Access database met ADO.NET op het programma en worden diverse aspecten van het uitrollen van applicaties besproken.
